I was thinking about asking about this myself but then the minecraft thread popped up and I shelved it.

This week is spring break around here and the kiddo will be out of town all week and next weekend so any night after tonight all the way through next weekend I will probably be available to find nub, pwn nub and go to iHop!!

OK, here is whats going to happen. I am going to shift the paradigm while leveraging the cloud, thereby maximizing our corporate reach out. Then when I am done drinking the cool aid we can begin peeling the onions many moving parts. Remember this can only be achieved through team building and giving 110% while the low hanging fruit is out of the loop. Hence by the first working day of April I will have our core strategy ready and we can begin phase two of this endeavour. :rave:

My low hanging fruit, received the corporate reach out. Now I am in floor in a fetal position, crying.

Would anyone be interested in some Mann Vs Machine?

Co-op mode. You play a six-man team against waves of robots that are attempting to carry a bomb to your base.

It can be REALLY hard, but oh so much fun with a good team. There's two ways to play it- regular MVM and "Mann Up Mode". Regular MVM can be great, but typically the groups you get SUCK because there's no barrier to entry and anyone can play. It's also a bit easier than Mann Up Mode. Both use the same maps and basic mechanics, but the waves are harder in Mann Up Mode. If you have a six-person group, you can form a party and get a guaranteed good group because you won't be dealing with random pubbies. Mann Up Mode requires you to buy a ticket to play (99 cents), but gives you several item drops at the end of the wave, and after completing a "Tour of Duty" (3 or four missions, usually on one or two maps), you get an extra drop that can be super-awesome.

In both modes you fight against multiple waves of bots. They drop cash when they're killed, and the more you collect, the more you can upgrade you and your weapons between rounds. So the soldier can make his rocket launcher fire faster, hold more, reload more quickly, stun bots, etc. The heavy can make himself nigh-invulnerable, you get the point.

I'd love to try a six-man group with you guys in MVM, see what we think of it. I play a lot of Mann Up Mode, but by now I buy my tickets with sales of the items I get playing it, so it pretty much pays for itself.

I know we did that mode once. Pretty fun, I think I played scout or something. Leth I can't make it Thursday, going to an early Captain America showing. Just remind me on Friday, splitting time right now with Dark Souls 2 and Infamous Second Son.
