Bend over and kiss...

Yer own @$$ Microsoft.....

Took ya long enough to realize you screwed up:

Microsoft does a 180 with the XBone

Better article here (Forbes) : Forbes on Xbox Reversal

Worst case now is that the general public has called MS out, and they caved like a scared-off bully. Their commercial "power" as it were took a huge hit in my eyes.

I thought they would at least tough it out through launch, then reverse it. This is funny.

Smartest move they could make really, as it essentially places them in a level playing field with the PS4 and the only argument will become price point and supporting studios.

Now if we can all band together and get rid of Kinect...

So should we now call the xbone the 180?

Edit: How long before EA announces the return of the online pass?

Apparently there is already a bill in congress to try and address this issue not saying it will succeed in either being passed or actually making a real difference if it does but it is there so start writing those letters to your congressmen.

Predator drones?

Fun fact, there is no law that makes it illegal for the government to use drones on American soil against American citizens...
They say when you go on a quest for vengence to dig two graves. They underestimate me.

It's for your own safety...

You can always move to Canada. As America's hat, we don't have any drones. Our military consists of a few hand-me-down planes, a submarine from WW2, a few antique helicopters (I think a few years ago one of them expired during mid-flight...true story), and tanks that were refurbished from the 1970s. We get really excited when the US invites us to go to war with them so we can play in the sandbox with the bigger kids with the cool toys.

Fun Fact About Canada: Canadians consume more macaroni and cheese than any other nation on earth.

Nor is it illegal for me to walk around and look at people. There is no assumption of privacy when outside your house. I don't know why people would expect otherwise.
Drones don't bother me near as much as people reading my emails.

I guess I wasn't clear on that...when I say use drones I don't mean spy...I mean drop a bomb on your house.

The drop of the game sharing is no big thing as disks,CDs and DVDs are going the way of the betamax in a few years.

I wonder if the drms on games can be stripped out the same way you can ebooks. :-) As an owner, load it into adobe digital editions and then run some code that scrubs it.
