Actually Cusp, its not Window's fault that you have to run as administrator. Microsoft has been steering developers away from needing administrator privileges to run software since Vista. They leave the option there for legacy software. You can't blame Windows when developers don't follow best practices.

For anyone that held off, ArmA 2 Combined Ops is 40% off today on Steam. Gogogo!

Just bought it, downloading now. Can't wait to splatter some Zombie...Which really means get destroyed early and often

My good, sweet lord! It took me 5 hours to download the game. Then I downloaded 6, set it up, hit 'quickplay' and waited about 30 minutes for 'character creation'. Thought I was ready to go and found myself staring at a hill for another 15 minutes. Decided to back out and select a server. Played for 15 minutes, finally found an axe, died 45 seconds later from flies. (I heard buzzing but saw not a single zombie.) called it quits for the night. I'll try again tomorrow!

Cuspar, right after you logged out I had multiple sniper fire on me. So I didn't last long, charging at them with an axe and an empty revolver.

I found a crowbar, but I can;t figure out how to attack. When I go up to a zombie, I just stand there and let him kill me, no matter what button a press. Just call me fragbait.

I snuck into the military hospital last night, found a TON of gear, and then got ganked by a bandit while fiddling with my inventory.

anyone know how to set up a server? I'd like to run one local for a while so I don;t get sniped while I'm learning how to play.

So if Dark has this now, the next time I login I expect we should have seven working helicopters, four tanks, and a bicycle with a mounted machinegun.

Just found myself some NV goggles. (read: killed a guy and stole his NV goggles)

Night time is now the best time for playing this game. It's insane how good these goggles are.
