Re: Star Wars Rise of Skywalker Thread

Postscript: I took Shafts 101 and it was nowhere near as funky as I thought it would be.

Re: Star Wars Rise of Skywalker Thread

So, the entire Star Wars Saga was about a man who tried his best to bring order to a corrupt galaxy, doomed to repeat the same mistakes, but was constantly frustrated by bureaucracy and dogma. Is that the lesson?

Like Furiel, I’ve been living the pandemic lifestyle for years. I don’t go down to the base or the office unless there is an absolute need. I won’t be happy until I’m a brain in a jar sitting on a shelf wired up to the internet. However, you essentials are performing a mitzvah. God bless. -Takanudo ...

Re: Last Jedi

I liked it as well. I think it explored some interesting aspects of Star Wars lore that we have not seen in the other movies. While the Finn and Rose storyline felt underdeveloped, I did appreciate getting to see another side of the galactic civil war in which opportunists are the only people who tr...

I was going to, but some jerk came in the store and loudly ruined the ending for everyone.
That sucks. When the theme music comes up on the closing act of the movie, you're thinking "wait a minute, is this what I think it is?"

Whoops. Sorry about that. I have a backup of this board up on my domain so that I can test stuff and not worry about breaking things here. It was stupid of me to post to an existing thread instead of creating a new one.

Go see Split, unless you didn't care for any of M. Night Shyamalan's early stuff in the first place.

Re: An interesting statistical anomaly

Out of curiosity, I updated the dicemod stats spreadsheet. The last time I updated it you guys had made about 1500 rolls. You are now passed 5000. More than half have been 1d20. The stats on 1d20 are a mean of 10.65681984 with a standard deviation of 5.781629611. One would expect a mean of 10.5 with...

I just wanted to take a minute to apologize for taking so long to update the dicemod. However, I have been working on it the past several weekends. I have pr...

Re: How the game will work

Does the dice mod generate actual dice rolls? I ask because it's important that for things like 3d8 or 2d6 that it get that bell-curve distribution, so it should generate a separate random number for each die before adding them together. It does. There is a for loop from i = 0 to i < number_to_the_...

Re: How the game will work

The dicemod has a "real dice" option that can be set in the ACP. It was set to allow only 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 20 sided dice. I just added 100 sided die. The "real dice" option can be disabled if you guys want to be able to roll anything. Here are some other options in the ACP you may want to be awa...
